From Visual Matrix to the Pin Pad and back, the Process Flow of a Credit Card Request





(1) The Processor response includes the token and successful or decline of the authorization (more information about decline reasons).
(2) It is important for the Front Desk to confirm the authorization in Visual Matrix BEFORE the guest retrieves the credit card from the pin pad or the process might be considered as incomplete.

Elavon, FortisPay, and Shift4 are available on VM Cloud PMS and VM Desktop PMS.
If you are a long user of Visual Matrix PMS and using VM Desktop PMS, you might still be working with TSYS, Visanet or Moneris (Canada) directly and using an encryption key plugged into your server for security encryption. Upgrade your credit card security processing.
