The Hotel Status screen gives supervisory staff an instant snapshot of key performance indicators—including current occupancy, room‐sales activity, and historical comparisons—so you can monitor daily operational health, spot discrepancies early, and take action proactively.

The Hotel Status screen is also available under the Sales & Marketing and Management departments. All versions display the same performance numbers, but the middle section varies by department to show information relevant to that role.
You can refer to the other versions here:

Before You Begin
Click Refresh at the top of the screen to load the most up-to-date statistics. The Hotel Status screen does not display any values until Refresh is pressed.
You can print the Hotel Status screen at any time using the Print button, but the middle sections—Operator Deposits, Housekeeping Discrepancies, and Out-of-Service Rooms—are never included in the printed version.

Understanding the Report

The Hotel Status screen is organized into six key sections that together offer a complete view of your property’s current performance. Room Sales – Current shows today’s live activity, while Room Sales – Yesterday provides finalized results from the previous day. Operator Deposits highlights revenue collected by front-desk staff, and Housekeeping Discrepancies identifies mismatches between housekeeping and front-office room statuses. Out-of-Service Rooms summarizes inventory currently unavailable for sale, and Yesterday’s Statistical Recap displays month-to-date and year-to-date performance for both the current and previous year. The sections below explain each area in more detail.



Room Sales – Current

This section displays today’s live room-sales activity, helping the front desk and supervisors track performance throughout the day.
Common fields include:
- In House, Arrivals, Departures
- Early Check-Outs, Late Check-Ins
- Walk-Ins, Out of Service, Comps
- Rooms Sold, Occupancy, Revenue, ADR, RevPAR


Notes
- Occupancy: The percentage of rooms sold, calculated by dividing the number of occupied rooms by the total number of available rooms.
- Revenue: The hotel’s total room revenue generated for the day.
- ADR (Average Daily Rate): The average rate paid per rented room, calculated by dividing total room revenue by the number of rooms rented.
- RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room): The revenue generated per available room, calculated by dividing total room revenue by the total number of rooms.

Room Sales – Yesterday

This section shows finalized performance metrics from the previous day, allowing direct comparison to today’s activity.
Common fields include:
- Occupied, No Shows, Comps, Rev Adjust
- Early C/O, Late C/I, Out of Service
- Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, Total Rooms, Revenue


Notes
- ADR With Comps: Average Daily Rate adjusted to include rooms occupied at a complimentary rate.
- RevPAR: Revenue per available room.
- Comps: Number of rooms occupied at a complimentary (no-rate) status.
- Revenue Adjusted: Total room charge adjustments posted for the day.
- Early C/O: Number of rooms that checked out earlier than their scheduled departure date.
- Late C/I: Number of backdated check-ins processed after the nightly audit.
- ADR (Average Daily Rate): Total room revenue divided by the number of rooms rented.
- Revenue: Yesterday’s finalized daily room revenue.

Operator Deposits

This table lists daily staff deposits by payment method, providing visibility into revenue collected at the front desk.
Columns include:
- Clerk, Type, Cash, Checks, Cards, Total
This section is often used for end-of-shift verification and balancing.



Housekeeping Discrepancies

This section highlights mismatches between housekeeping and front-desk room statuses.
It helps teams quickly identify:
- Rooms marked differently by FD and HK
- Who reported the discrepancy
- The time it was logged
Columns include: Room #, Reported By, Time, FD Status, HSKP Status.



Out-of-Service Rooms

This area shows rooms currently unavailable for sale, helping supervisors understand impacts to sellable inventory.
Displays:
- Room #
- Until (expected return to service)
- Reason (maintenance, deep clean, etc.)



Yesterday's Statistical Recap - MTD & YTD

This recap provides month-to-date (MTD) and year-to-date (YTD) metrics for the current year and the previous year side by side.
Metrics include:
- Rooms, Occupancy, Revenue, ADR, RevPAR
- % of Base, % of Tier
This section offers valuable trending insight for revenue management and operational forecasting.



Tips & Use Cases

- Always click Refresh first thing in the morning or after major reservations changes to ensure data accuracy.
- If you see a significant number of early check-outs in the “Room Sales – Current” section, your front desk may need to adjust room re-inventory or housekeeping flow.
- A spike in the “Housekeeping Discrepancies” section signals mis-alignment between housekeeping and front desk—investigate immediately to avoid guest room availability issues.
- If “Out-of-Service Rooms” count increases sharply, contact maintenance and update your revenue forecast accordingly.
