When you log into the Cloud, you'll find a "Search Today" field at the top-right corner of the screen. This feature allows you to quickly search for a reservation among today's in-house or arrival bookings without navigating to another window. Additionally, the search field can be used to locate specific pages within the application by entering keywords.
Search a reservation
You will have five options to do your search:
- Guest Name
- VM Confirmation number
- Third-Party Confirmation number
- Phone number
- Room number
Example:
In the screenshot below, a search using the letters "Pet" returned a result matching a guest's last name.
In the new search example, entering the numbers "368" returned a matching reservation.
Clicking on the reservation reveals that the numbers "368" are part of the guest's phone number.
Search a page
You can also use the search field to search for a page. Whether it is a report or a sub-category, you can use this field to search for the desired page by entering relevant keywords, making navigation within the application quicker and more efficient.
For example, if you type the word "arrival" into the search field, the system will display results related to arrivals, such as the Arrival List or any pages or reports associated with arrival information. This helps you quickly navigate to relevant sections without manually browsing through menus.
Entering the word "credit" into the search field will display results like Credit Card Batch or Over Credit Limit Report, guiding you directly to pages or reports associated with credit-related tasks. This streamlines navigation and saves time when searching for specific features or functions.
