Logging In with Multi-Factor Authentication (Cloud)

Logging In with Multi-Factor Authentication (Cloud)

This feature is available in the system but not visible by default. To have it displayed, please contact our Client Experience team.

Multi-factor authentication is an electronic authentication method in which a user is granted access to a website or application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism: knowledge, possession, and inherence. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your Visual Matrix Cloud account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. Here’s how it works when you sign in.
This feature/option is not to be applied to specific users; once the feature is enabled, it will be applied to everyone.

Ask Yourself:
  1. Am I entering the correct username and password before the MFA prompt?
  2. Did I receive the MFA code via the expected method (email, authenticator app, etc.)?
  3. Am I entering the code within the time limit?
  4. Have I tried refreshing or requesting a new MFA code?
Support May Ask You:
  1. Which MFA delivery method are you using (email, authenticator, SMS if available)?
  2. Are you receiving the MFA code at all?
  3. When entering the MFA code, what error or behavior do you see?
  4. Have you previously logged in successfully with MFA on this account?
