Remove an Extra Folio from Reservation (Cloud) šŸŽ„

šŸŽ„ Watch Video
If you’ve assigned an extra folio to a reservation (Name Only or Incidental) and no charges have been posted to it, you can remove it via the Guest Account tools. This action cleans up unused folios.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search > Open the Reservation > Select Guest Account.
Info
You cannot remove the A folio or any folio that has been checked in and/or that has had postings—even voided or transferred.

Instructions

1. Open the reservation and click Guest Account on the right-hand panel.

2. If an extra folio is set as Incidental or Name Only, you’ll see a red ā€œRemoveā€ button—click it to delete the folio.

Notes
Keep in mind: You cannot remove a folio if the reservation has been checked in or if any postings exist in that folio—even those that were voided or transferred. The A folio can never be removed.

Still need help with this topic?

Ask Yourself:
- Am I trying to remove the A folio (which can never be removed)?
- Has this folio been checked-in?
- Have any postings been applied to this folio, even if later voided or transferred?

Support May Ask You:
- Which reservation are you working on?
- Which folio (B, C, or D) are you trying to remove?
- Has the folio been checked-in or had postings (even voided/transferred)?
- Can you share a screenshot of the Guest Account screen showing the folio details and the missing ā€œRemoveā€ button?
