Source of Business Report (Desktop)
This report is currently only retrieving information from the BW2Way, if you are not a BW property and are looking to get that report, please contact our Client Experience team who will submit a feature request.
The Source of Business report gives a stat recap of every reservation, for the requested specific time frame, by source of booking. The codes used in this report are not VM codes but codes that are used by the Channel Manager.
Path: Sales & Marketing > Reports > Status and Arrivals > Source of Business (toolbox on the right)
Generate report
1. Narrow down the report using the optional available filters (from left to right):
- by period: choose a Start and an End date.
- by breaking down the report only by Channel: CRO (Central Reservation Office), DC (Distribution Channel), GDS (Global Distribution System), WB (Web) or Local.
- by breaking down the report one step further by Primary Source: type of sub-level of origin of the reservations - examples would be Agoda, Booking, Expedia, ...
- by breaking down the report one step further by Secondary Channel: sub-sub level of origin of the reservations.
2. Click Refresh.
Detailed report
- Channel code.
- Primary source code.
- Secondary source code.
- Number of reservations by source.
- Sub-total of resrevation by Secondary Source, Primary Source, and by Channel.
- Grand total number of reservations for all sources.
