The logbook works by each department by day. It is meant for communication inside one department, not between departments. See how to
add a log to the Logbook.
To send a message across departments to specific people or a specific team, or even to the whole staff, you want to use the Internal Messaging app.
1. From the login page, open any Department.
2. Click on Info at the top right of the page.
The Log Book is at the bottom left of the page.
The user will only be able to add new logs intended for other users from within his/her department.
The department is the one assigned in the user's profile in Management > Admin > Security.
The user will see the logs of his/her department but will be able to read any log across all departments.
1. By choosing any other department and a date, you can see the logs for that department. By choosing ALL, you can see all logs for all departments together.
2. In our example below, by choosing ALL, we can see messages from two profiles: Management and Front Office.
