Create a Cleaning Recurring Task (MOP)


Cleaning recurring tasks allows properties to automate routine housekeeping duties, ensuring consistent cleanliness and operational efficiency. This article explains how to create a cleaning recurring task in MOP so tasks are generated automatically based on a defined schedule.


Path: Recurring Tasks

1.  Access Recurring Tasks - Navigate to Recurring Tasks
2.  Create New Task - Click Add Recurring Task


3. Enter Task Details
Location - Select the room number or common area


Duty Type - Choose the appropriate cleaning duty (e.g., Deep Clean, Inspection, Standard Cleaning)

Priority - Select Low, Medium, or High

Assigned To - Select the employee responsible for completing the task. The list will populate based on task type.


Days - Define how often the task should recur. Set the number of days between occurrences.


Date -  Select the start date and the time frame (start and end) during which the task should be completed.


Counter - Enter how many times the task will be repeated. If left blank, the task will be repeated indefinitely until deletion.

4.  Activate Task - Ensure the task is marked as Active


Notes - Input any notes that provide additional information or context about the task, or elaborate on the task if "See Notes" was chosen as the duty (#3).


5. Save - Click Save to create the recurring task
