Edit a Task (MOP 2.0)


Editing a task in MOP 2.0 allows supervisors or authorized users to update task details such as the priority, status, assignee, duty, or verification settings. Tasks can be edited from several locations within MOP depending on the type of update needed. These editing options help ensure that tasks remain accurate as room conditions change or assignments need to be adjusted throughout the day.

Where Tasks Can Be Edited

Tasks can be edited from the following areas in MOP:
  1. All Tasks (Home / Dashboard)
  2. Edit Tasks
  3. Assigned Rooms
  4. RA Monitor
  5. Task Search
Each section provides slightly different editing capabilities depending on the workflow.
Notes
  1. Editing permissions depend on the user role assigned in MOP.
  2. Some fields may be restricted depending on task type or verification status.
  3. Maintenance tasks may have additional restrictions for safety and tracking purposes.

Edit a Task from All Tasks (Home / Dashboard)

Path: Dashboard > All Tasks

1. Locate the task you want to edit.
2. Click the pencil icon on the left side of the task.

3. Modify the necessary fields (such as status, priority, or assignee).
4. Click Save to apply the changes.










Edit a Task from Edit Tasks

Path: Dashboard > Edit Tasks

The Edit Tasks page allows you to update task details directly using dropdown menus and checkboxes.
1. Locate the task you want to update.
2. Modify the required fields.


3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Click Save to apply your changes.


Edit a Task from Assigned Rooms

Path: Dashboard > Assigned Rooms

1. Locate the assigned room.
2. Use the Duty dropdown to change the assigned duty if needed.


3. Click the room number to open the task details.


4. Update the required information.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the window.


Edit a Task from RA Monitor

Path: Dashboard > RA Monitor

RA Monitor displays tasks organized by department:
  1. Housekeeping
  2. Maintenance
  3. Front Desk
1. Locate the task within the appropriate department.


2. Click the assignee name to change who the task is assigned to.


3. Click the room number or area name to open the task details.


4. Update the task information as needed.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Path: Dashboard > Task Search

1. Locate the task using the search filters if necessary.
2. Click the pencil icon on the left side of the task.


3. Modify the required fields.
4. Click Save to apply the updates.
