Editing Guest Folio Text and Layout (Cloud)

Guest folios are one of the most visible documents your property shares with guests, making them an important part of your branding and communication. Customizing the folio layout lets you control what appears at the top and bottom, and within the receipt section, ensuring your folios reflect your property’s identity and provide clear, relevant information.
Path: Management > Property Settings > Forms > Guest Folios

Instructions

Each section of the folio layout can be customized using the View option within Guest Folio Settings.

1. Open the Section to Customize. In the Guest Folios section, click View next to:
  1. Folio Heading (top of the folio)
  2. Folio Footer (bottom of the folio)
  3. Guest Folio Receipts (text below charges)


2. Update the Text. Modify the content as needed in the editor window:
  1. Add branding, contact details, or messaging
  2. Adjust wording to match your property standards
  3. Format the content for readability
Each section controls a different part of the folio:
  1. Folio Heading: Appears below the property logo at the top
  2. Folio Footer: Appears at the bottom of the folio
  3. Guest Folio Receipts: Appears below the detailed stay charges


3. Click Save within the editor window. Then click the Save (floppy disk) icon at the top right of the page to apply the changes



Important Notes

Alert
  1. Receipt Length: If too much text is added to the receipt section, it may create an additional page—even if only a small portion of text carries over. Always test the print layout after making changes.
  2. Footer Limitations: The signature area at the bottom of the folio is system-defined and cannot be removed.
Idea
Testing Recommended: After making updates, print or preview a folio to confirm formatting and spacing appear as expected.
