Signature capture allows guests to sign directly on the pinpad device during the payment process, creating a digital record of their authorization. This signature is automatically recognized by Visual Matrix and embedded onto the registration card within the reservation, eliminating the need to print a paper version.
Guests will see the authorization amount displayed on the pinpad—including the stay and any incidentals—as well as the
preset registration card text (such as general terms and conditions). To verify or update the setting, follow the steps in this article.
1. When the interface window opens, check or uncheck the “SIG” box to enable or disable signature capture. If you have multiple devices, each will have its own checkbox, allowing you to turn the feature on or off only where needed.
2. Click the green floppy disk icon to save your changes.
