Utilizing Signature Capture from a Tablet (Cloud)

The feature will only function if the signature capture is not enabled on your pinpad device.

A method to maintain a paperless approach while capturing guest signatures on registration cards, without using a pinpad device, is to employ a tablet.

Unlike a pinpad device, the tablet serves as the sole device used by the front desk agent to initiate check-in and display the signature capture interface for the guest.

1. Configure the pre-set text that will appear on the screen for the guest to sign.

2. Start your check-in: Select the method of payment.

3. "Bypass Acceptance Terms and Signature": Click "No".

This step holds significant importance. Choosing "Yes" will bypass the signature capture process entirely.

4. The first signature window that prompt above the text will not allow a signature... yet... This window is for the guest to read the acceptance terms. Ask the guest to click "Accept" or "OK".

5. Ask the guest to sign and click "OK".

6. The signature will prompt to confirm, click "OK".

7. Confirm the Check-in, click "OK".

8. The check-in is completed.

9. The signature will now show on the reg card (The signature will not show on the folio or any other document).
