Third Party Reservation Marketing Fields (Cloud)


Marketing fields in a reservation serve to categorize and track booking details, helping hotels analyze guest sources, preferences, and marketing effectiveness.
Third-party reservations refer to bookings that originate from a two-way communication channel, often facilitated by systems like Channel Management, Best Western, Siteminder, SynXis, or Innlink. It's crucial to note that every reservation received through a two-way connection must always be associated with a Rate Code/Discount Code. Additionally, each Rate Code is linked to a predefined Marketing Segment, which is configured in the translation table within the two-way interface. When a booking is made with a specific Rate Code, the associated Marketing Segments will be reflected in the reservation. This setup can be modified both in the rate mapping and within the reservation itself.



2Way Marketing Segments can bet setup in the 2Way translation table in Management > Interfaces > All Interfaces > Choose your Channel Manager > Rate Plan Setup.
