Return/Clear a Lost & Found (MOP 2.0)

The Lost & Found feature is scheduled to be release on February 24, 2025
The last step in managing lost and found items is ensuring they are either returned to their rightful owners or cleared from storage once they reach the expiration date. Properly completing this process keeps your storage organized and helps maintain accurate records. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to efficiently return items or remove them when it's time to clear storage.
Path1: Lost & Found > Item Log > Active
Path2: Lost & Found > Item Log > Expired

From the Active tab

Any item in the "Active" tab are items that are not expired yet.
1. Click on the clipboard next to the item.


2. Indicate whether the item was returned to the guest or removed from the storage area after its expiration date.
3. Provide additional details in the "Final Notes" field, such as a mailing tracking number or the return address.
4. Click "Save."


From the Expired tab

The "Expired" tab shows every item that the expiration date has been met, regardless of if it has been returned or already cleared from storage.

1. Click on the Eyeball next to the item to update.


2. Indicate whether the item was returned to the guest or removed from the storage area after its expiration date.
3. Provide additional details in the "Final Notes" field, such as a mailing tracking number or the return address.
4. Click "Save."
