To setup the On-Call person(s), you need to access any Visual Matrix departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, ...), to see the OnCall Link in the top right corner of the page.
The window is divided into 3 tabs: Guests Requests, Hotel, and Services.
Guest Requests Tab - Someone has to be checked in each category
- Guest Text: Feature not yet available
- Special Requests: will show any user that has the Text Alerts Turn On checked in their profile (Management > Admin > Security). Those are the Special Requests made in the reservation. When a Special Request is made, an internal message can be sent to whoever is checked. If this user has a phone number, it will send by text instead of internal messaging
Hotel Tab
- Management: will show in the list only the users that have Text Alerts Turn On checked in their profile (Management > Admin > Security) and have the Mgmt text box checked. Once checked, if that user has a phone number set up, the user will receive every Management notification through Twilio (more reliable for the cost of the text), otherwise, messages will be through internal messaging.
- 911: will show in the list only the users that have Text Alerts Turn On. If you want one of them to receive any 911 call notification. This feature requires the PBX Interface.
Services Tab
- Housekeeping: will show in the list only the users that have Text Alerts Turn On checked in their profile (Management > Admin > Security) and have the Hskp text box checked. Once checked, if that user has a phone number set up, the user will receive every Housekeeping notification through Twilio (more reliable for the cost of the text), otherwise, messages will be through internal messaging.
- Maintenance: will show in the list only the users that have Text Alerts Turn On checked in their profile (Management > Admin > Security) and have the Maint text box checked. Once checked, if that user has a phone number set up, the user will receive every Housekeeping notification through Twilio (more reliable for the cost of the text), otherwise, messages will be through internal messaging.
