Enabling Text and Push Notifications for Users (Cloud)

This section allows you to designate which users can receive SMS or push notifications in three key areas: Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Management. Note that this setup determines who is eligible to receive notifications but does not activate them. To enable notifications, you will need to activate each user in the On-Call section.
Path: Management > User Settings > Security

1. Highlight a user.



2. Choose Push or SMS. If you choose SMS, it will unlock the carrier field.
- Push will send the notification to the user internal messaging box accessible from the dashboard.
- SMS will send to the user phone as a text message. Enter the user phone number and its carrier. Text messages are send as emails.



3. Credit card batch alert will not be sent by text but will only be a push to the internal messaging.



4. Check what type of notification the user will receive:
- Maintenance: When a room is out of order with the comment reason.
- Housekeeping: When a guest is moved and a room is back in service.
- Management: Night audit daily report stats (cash, credit card, revenue, ADR, occupancy %).

Notes
Setting up a user with a phone number and selecting the departments they will receive notifications from will automatically add their name to the list of users in the On-Call section.
Once activated here. the user needs to be activated from the On-Call window.
