Registration card text settings allow your property to customize the messages displayed to guests during check-in and on printed registration cards. These include the main body text, signature acknowledgment text, and footer disclaimers. Updating these fields ensures your registration cards reflect your property’s policies, compliance requirements, and guest communication standards.
Registration card text is managed through three main fields within the Registration Card settings. Each field controls a different section of the document and can be customized independently.
Path: Management > Property Settings > Forms > Registration Cards
Preset Text (Main Body)
Displays the primary message on the registration card.
Typically includes:
- Welcome message
- Stay terms and conditions
- General policies
This is the main section guests read before signing.
Preset Text for Signature Capture
Displays the text shown when capturing a guest’s signature electronically.
Used when the property utilizes signature capture on a pinpad or device instead of printing a registration card.
In this workflow:
- The guest reads the registration terms directly on the device
- The guest signs electronically on the pinpad
- The signature is stored in the PMS
- This replaces the printed registration card
This text should include any acknowledgments, authorizations, or policy language that the guest must accept before signing.
Displays at the bottom of the registration card.
Commonly used for:
- Legal disclaimers
- Brand-required statements
- Additional notes or policies
This section is separate from the main preset text and is always positioned at the bottom of the document.
