Finish/Complete a Task (MOP 2.0)

Finish/Complete a Task (MOP 2.0)

Once a task has been completed, it must be marked as Finished in MOP. This ensures the task status is updated, progress is tracked accurately, and the next steps (such as verification, if required) can take place. Marking a task as finished confirms that the assigned work has been completed.

When to Finish a Task

A task should be marked as Finished when:
  1. The room has been fully cleaned
  2. The assigned duty has been completed
  3. All required work for the task is done

Finish a Task

Path: My Tasks

1. Open the Task - Click the eye icon on the left side of the task to open it.

2. Complete the Task - Click Finish to mark the task as completed.

What Happens After Finishing a Task

  1. The task status updates to Finished
  2. The system records the completion time
  3. The system records who completed the task
  4. If the user is set to Self Verify, the task may automatically move to Verified
  5. If Supervisor Verification is required, the task will need to be reviewed before being fully verified
Notes
Always ensure the task is fully completed before selecting Finish
Once finished, the task may require verification depending on user settings
Finished tasks remain visible for tracking and reporting
