Put a Started Task on Pause (MOP 2.0)

There may be times when a task needs to be temporarily stopped before it is completed. This can happen if a housekeeper or employee needs to handle another priority, wait for supplies, or address an unexpected situation. Using the Pause function allows the task to remain in progress while accurately reflecting that work has been temporarily stopped.

When to Use Pause

Use the Pause option when:
  1. You need to step away from the room temporarily
  2. You are waiting on supplies or assistance
  3. You are redirected to another urgent task
  4. The room cannot be completed at that moment

Put a Task on Pause

Path: My Tasks

1. Open the Task - Click the eye icon on the left side of the task to open it.

2. Pause the Task - Click Pause to temporarily stop the task.
  1. The task will remain assigned to you and can be resumed later.

What Happens When a Task Is Paused

  1. The task remains in progress but is temporarily stopped
  2. You can move on to other tasks
  3. The task can be resumed later and completed
  4. Time spent while paused is not counted toward working time
Notes
Always resume and complete the task once work is finished
Paused tasks will still appear in your My Tasks list
Only one task can be actively started at a time unless another is paused
