Room Condition Status between MOP and VM PMS (MOP 2.0)

Room Condition Status between MOP and VM PMS (MOP 2.0)

Since each application includes a room status condition, there is also a mapping table that establishes the corresponding statuses between MOP and VM PMS. This table is hard-coded in the interface between MOP and VM PMS and cannot be customized.
In order to explain this process clearly, a diagram is the simplest thing.

The status change will depend on whether the room attendant has the authority to "self-verify" her rooms or if her cleaned rooms need to be verified by a Supervisor/Head Housekeeper.
- There are 3 main statuses in MOP: New, Finished, and Verified.
- There are 3 statuses in VM PMS: Dirty, Clean, and Clean & Inspected.

When a room attendant has a self-verified authority

A room attendant with "self-verify" authority will not see her rooms updated to "Clean & Inspected" in the PMS; they will only be marked as "Clean." The status of "Clean & Inspected" will need to be manually updated in the PMS.
