A rate level groups various rate plans based on factors like discounts, restrictions, or commission percentages, depending on the hotel's strategy. This allows properties to manage availability collectively rather than individually. By limiting total room availability across grouped plans, rate levels help optimize revenue and ADR by moving guests to higher rates once the grouped availability is sold out.
