Setting up Maintenance categories means adding tasks that would be needed to create preventative maintenance. Add preventative maintenance items and include projected costs for the items (labor and materials) and save your changes.
Whether it is cleaning A/C filters or changing door locks, anything that can be scheduled as preventative maintenance has to be set up in this section before being
assigned to a location and then
assign to a technician to conduct the PM assignment.

1. Scroll down to the last empty line.
2. Enter a description for the preventative maintenance task.
3. Enter any associated material, labor or misc cost.
4. Click anywhere outside to save.
5. Repeat process.
