Whether you are on VM Desktop or VM Cloud, the night audit process generally takes between 5 and 10 minutes.
But it is not uncommon that it takes longer, if not much longer. Based on your computer speed, your internet, the size of your hotel, the amount of data to consolidate for the day, and the work being done on the back end linked to the night audit, it could take up to an hour.
If no error has shown up, the first advice is to wait.
If the audit has not been moving for more than 45 minutes, try to refresh your page, log out, and log back in, and check the following:
- Did the date change?
- Have room & tax been posted on the rooms?
- Has the night audit page been updated to the next day (number of departures (late check-outs) and arrivals (no-shows))?
