Update a Discount Code (Desktop)
Updating a discount code has two steps. First, the discount code needs to be updated from the Setup window. Second, the updated code needs to be populated for every room type and every season. Updating only the discount in the setup screen won't update it everywhere.
Path: Management > Setup > Rates > Discount > Setup
Option #1: Update manually
Go to each room type in each season and uncheck and check the discount code that has been modified.
Option #2: Open a ticket with Visual Matrix Client Experience for a General Population
This request is considered a Medium priority and will be treated within 24 business hours.
Any reservation with the discount code already applied won't be updated. To update a reservation, the discount code needs to be unapplied and reapplied to the reservation.
