Use Custom Letter in a Reservation (Cloud)
Custom letters let you substitute the default confirmation text—such as generic greetings or promotional messages—with a tailored version at the bottom of the confirmation email or document. They can serve as confirmations or promotional content and are assigned directly within the guest’s reservation via the contact information section.
Path: Front Office > Reservation > Open a Reservation
Instructions
1. Open the Reservation: Navigate to the guest’s reservation and look at the Contact Information section.
2. Assign a Custom Letter: In the right-hand column, locate the Custom Letter field and select one of your prepared letters from the dropdown.

The custom letter will replace the standard footer text in the confirmation. The upper portion of the confirmation (reservation details) remains unchanged.
Cancellations
If you assign a custom letter and later cancel the reservation, you must remove the letter before cancellation. Otherwise, the same custom letter will be sent as the cancellation confirmation instead of the correct cancellation message.
