Sending a confirmation letter ensures guests receive verification of their reservation details via email. In VM Cloud, you can send confirmations for both individual and group reservations. This article covers the process for an individual reservation.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search and Open the Reservation
Instructions
1. Confirm Email Settings: Ensure the reservationâs Confirmation Delivery is set to Email, and that a valid email address is entered.
If you select any option other than Email for Confirmation Delivery, the system will generate a printable letter to be sent by mail.
2. Send the Letter: Open the reservationâs Toolbox and click Confirm Letter.
3. Success Confirmation: A pop-up message confirms the email has been sent.
Save time by enabling the automatic confirmation option, so the letter is sent as soon as the reservation is saved.
