Check and Understand the Email Log (Cloud)

The Email Log in VM Cloud provides a complete record of every email generated by the system. This includes not only reservation-related letters (confirmation, cancellation, custom, proforma) but also automated messages such as nightly audit reports or scheduled property communications. Reviewing the Email Log helps you verify delivery, confirm system processes, and troubleshoot both guest and operational emails.
Path: Dashboard > Support > Message Log > Email

Instructions

1. Click on "Support" at the top of the Dashboard.


2. Click on "Message Log".


3. Click on the "Email" tab.

The SMS tab records all messages sent through the VM Guest Texting feature.

4. Select a date range as well as the information to display.



5. The log will give you multiple information about the emails that were sent.



6. Many messages are sent by email from Visual Matrix.

If SMS notifications are not configured to use the VM Guest Texting feature, they are delivered as emails converted to text messages. In these cases, the message will appear in the Email tab of the log, not the SMS tab.
