Using Notes and Comments to Communicate Between Departments (MOP)
The Notes and Comments feature in MOP allows team members to communicate clearly and efficiently across departments. By adding notes directly to tasks or rooms, staff can:
- Share important updates
- Provide additional instructions
- Improve coordination between teams
- This helps ensure tasks are completed accurately and nothing is missed.
Path: Open Task or Room
1. Open Task or Room - Navigate to the relevant task or room
2. Access Notes - Tap or click the Notes icon or field
3. Enter Comment - Add a clear and concise note (Example: “Need extra towels in this room”)
4. Save - Click Save to update the task
Use clear and concise language for effective communication
Notes help keep all departments informed in real time
For urgent or safety-related issues, utilize Panic Alert, Report Suspicious Activity, or Alerts, to escalate directly to management.
