Check In Guest with Credit Card (Cloud) 🎥

Before starting the check-in, make sure a room number is assigned and the room is clean.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search and Open the Reservation

1. Choose Check-In from the Toolbox on the right.
2. Any prepaid deposit will show as well as the remaining amount to be paid.
3. Choose Credit Card as the Method of Payment from the drop-down in the Check-In window.
4. If an incidental amount was set up in the credit card interface, the remaning amount will increase of the same amount.
5. Select the Lane of the PinPad that will be connected for the credit card imprint. Click OK.
6. Select OK to confirm the Check-In.
7a. If there was no credit card in the reservation, click Authorize to get the CC number from the pinpad.
7b. If there was a credit card in the reservation, click Accept to confirm the credit card and Authorize to authorize it. If another credit card has to be entered, click Clear and follow 7a.
If the credit card that is swiped/chipped is the same that is on file, Visual Matrix will still consider it as a separate credit card and will make a new authorization.
8. If setup:
- Registration card will print
- Electronic key window will popup for creation
