Rebuild Inventory in Case of Discrepancy (Cloud) 🎥

Sometimes, Visual Matrix's Availability screen may display incorrect room count totals, whether for the entire inventory or specific room types. This discrepancy can arise when individual reservations or group allocations are canceled, dropped, or picked up, causing the availability screen to not update accurately. The Res Matrix is essentially a database of all rooms and their statuses in the hotel, which contributes to the Availability screen.
To address this issue, you can utilize the "Rebuild Res Matrix" function, available in the Front Office Supervisor section. This feature is designed to ensure that the availability screen reflects accurate room totals. After executing the rebuild, any discrepancies in the room counts should be rectified.
Rebuilding Res Matrix is a straightforward process that can be performed by authorized personnel, helping to maintain the accuracy of your available data.
Path: Front Office > Supervisor > System Maint

Click on Rebuild Res Matrix in the top right corner.
Click "Yes" to the pop up message to proceed.
