Room Inspection Overview (MOP 2.0)
Room Inspection allows supervisors and managers to review completed guest room tasks, verify cleanliness and readiness, and document inspection outcomes directly in MOP. The feature supports quality control, accountability, and reporting by clearly recording inspection results, timestamps, and the user who completed each action.
What Is Room Inspection?
Room Inspection is a workflow in MOP that enables authorized users to:
- Inspect guest rooms after housekeeping or maintenance tasks are completed

- Document inspection results for tracking and reporting
Room Inspections are tied directly to room tasks and are visible in Room Inspection views and reports.
Room Inspections are typically completed by:
- Supervisors
- Managers
- Head Housekeepers
- Other authorized roles with inspection permissions
Room Attendants generally complete room tasks, while inspections are performed by higher-level users.

- A room task (clean, strip, service, etc.) is completed.
- The room becomes available for inspection.
- An authorized user opens the room in Room Inspection.
- The inspection is completed and documented.
- The inspection result is saved and recorded in MOP.
Inspection Results and Visibility
Once completed, Room Inspection records may display:
- Room number
- Attendant
- Total Problems
- Status
- Inspected by (user who performed the completion)

Completed inspections become read-only and remain available for reporting and auditing.
