Sales & Mktg Yield Management History Report (Desktop) 🎥
The Yield Management History report will display how many rooms were sold for each tier each day.
Path: Sales & Marketing > Reports > History > Yield Mgmt
Generate report
1. Narrow down the report using the optional available filters (from left to right):
- by period: choose one day or a date range.
- by day of the week: if you are looking to compare activity and sales for a same day on a specific time frame (every Mondays between June and August for example).
2. Click Refresh.
Detailed report
- Date and day of the data.
- Base Rev: Revenue that would have been generated if the rate was the base rate.
- Tier: applicable tier for that day. If multiple tiers were applicable that same day (in case of change during the day), then it would show one line for each applicable tier for the day.
In the screenshot, you can see that on 03/01/23, two rates were applicable - base rate and tier3 rate - so, 2 lines shows.
- Gross: Revenue that should have been generated if the tier rate was applied without discounts or overrides.
- Override: total amount that was overriden.
- Actual Revenue generated after overrides.
- Number of rooms sold under that tier rate.
- ADR for that tier that day.
- % of base: (ADR for this tier this day) / (applicable base rate) x 100. The % of base compares the ADR for that tier that day with the base rate ADR. Closer the number is to 100%, less overrides and discounts have been applied.
- % of Occ: Occupancy rate for that tier that day.
Totals, from left to right:
- Total Revenue that would have been generated if the rate was the base rate.
- % of difference between the Actual and the Gross Revenues.
- Total Revenue that should have been generated if the tier rate was applied without discounts or overrides.
- Total amount of overrides.
- Total of Actual Revenue generated after overrides.
- Total rooms sold.
- ADR (all tiers).
- Average of % of base.
