Update a Discount Code (Cloud)
Updating a discount code has two steps. First, the discount code needs to be updated from the Setup window. Second, the updated code needs to be populated for every room type and every season. Updating only the discount in the setup screen won't update it everywhere.
Path: Management > Rates > Discount
Option #1: Update manually
Go to each room type in each season and uncheck and check the discount code that has been modified.
Click Save.
Option #2: Populate from the interface mapping table (for Online Rates only)
Path: Management > Interfaces > All Interfaces > Channel Manager
1. Go to Rate Plan Setup, the first icon from the top on the right side.
2. Click on the discount code that was updated and click on Unassign at the bottom.
3. Click Select All.
4. Click OK.
5. Click again on the discount code that was updated and click on Populate at the bottom. This will update every room type and every season at once.
6. Click Select All.
7. Click OK.
Any reservation with the discount code already applied won't be updated. To update a reservation, the discount code needs to be unapplied and reapplied to the reservation.
