Mark a room as "Do Not Move" (Cloud)


Designating a room as “Do Not Move” in a reservation signals to your team that this specific room should not be reassigned—perhaps because it fulfills a guest request or meets special requirements. It’s a communication tool, not a lock—it doesn’t prevent moves, nor does it generate an alert.
Path: Front Office > Search > Open a Reservation
Idea
Use DNM to honor guest requests without technically locking the room—staff still have flexibility.

Instructions

1. Open the Reservation: From the main menu, navigate to the reservation via Front Office > Search, and scroll down to the "Stay Details" section.



2. Mark the Room: Scroll to the Stay Details section and check the DNM box.



3. Save Automatically: No need to manually save—your change is saved automatically.
Warning
This setting doesn’t prevent the room from being changed—it only flags it as preferred. The change does not appear in the modification log (MOD) or trigger any warnings to users.
