Set Up Preventative Maintenance Items (Cloud) 🎥
Preventative maintenance items represent the types of planned maintenance tasks your property performs on a recurring or scheduled basis—such as filter changes, inspections, or servicing of equipment. In Visual Matrix Cloud, setting up preventative maintenance items allows you to define these task types and associate default cost values so they can be used consistently when scheduling preventative maintenance work. This setup ensures maintenance teams can quickly assign and track routine upkeep tasks and helps with accurate forecasting and reporting.

Instructions
1. In the Preventative Maintenance Items list, use the last empty row to enter:
- A Description for the preventative maintenance item (e.g., Air Filter, Roof Inspection).
- Optional Material, Labor, and Misc cost values that apply when this item is used.
2. Click the Save icon (floppy disk) at the end of the row. Saving the entry creates the preventative maintenance item and provides a new empty line for the next item.
Use the X (delete) icon at the end of the row to remove a maintenance work order item.
A work order item cannot be deleted if it has already been used in an existing maintenance work order.
