Set Up Maintenance Work Order Items (Cloud) 🎥

Maintenance work order items define the types of issues or tasks that can be selected when creating a maintenance work order. In Visual Matrix Cloud, setting up maintenance work order items allows properties to standardize maintenance categories—such as plumbing, lighting, or appliances—so work orders can be created quickly and consistently. These items are later selected when creating work orders for guest rooms or common areas.

Instructions

Use this page to create and manage the list of maintenance work order items available in the system.

1. In the Work Order Items section, use the last empty row to enter a Code/Name for the new maintenance item.



2. Click the Save icon (floppy disk) at the end of the row. Saving the entry creates the maintenance item and adds a new empty row so you can create another item.


Notes
Use the X (delete) icon at the end of the row to remove a maintenance work order item.
A work order item cannot be deleted if it has already been used in an existing maintenance work order.
