The Show Pickups feature displays how many rooms in a group block have been allocated, picked up, and how many remain or have been dropped. This view helps you track group performance, manage inventory, and identify rooms that can still be picked up—or that were released after the drop date. The report updates in real time as rooms are picked up or dropped and is useful for both the front desk and group coordinators monitoring group progress.
Path: Front Office > Group > Search > Open the Group > Show Pickups (in the toolbox on the right).
Instructions
1. From the right-side tools panel, click Show Pickups.
2. A window will open showing all room types and dates in the group’s stay.
The grid displays the number of rooms for each room type and date under three categories:
- Allocation: The number of rooms originally blocked for the group.
- Pick Up: The number of rooms already converted to actual reservations.
- Remaining / Dropped: Remaining shows when allocations are still active and available to be picked up. Dropped shows when the drop date has passed or unused allocations were released back to inventory.
Print the Show Pickups Report
You can now print the Show Pickups report directly from the same window for recordkeeping or group analysis.
1. In the Show Pickups window, click the Print icon or button (typically found in the upper-right corner).
2. The system generates a formatted print preview showing the same allocation, pickup, and remaining/dropped data by room type and date.
