The Discount Code forecast report will display a recap of each discount code currently applied to current and future reservations in the system.
Path: Sales & Marketing > Reports > Forecast > Discount Code

Generate report

1. Narrow down the report by choosing the period to generate the report for. If the period is over 2 weeks (14 days), the report will be shown in a summary format - See below.



2. Click Refresh.



Detailed report - Up to 2 weeks version

- Discount code and description.


The initial line of the report is always "RACK." This is not a discount in itself, but rather includes all reservations made at the daily rack rate.
The second line "OVR" is optional and will only appear if some rack rates were modified. Note that when a discount code is applied and subsequently altered, it won't be categorized as an override but will be counted under the specific discount code selected.

- Number of rooms with a discount code currently applied to per day.



- Total of rooms with a discount code applied to, by discount code.
- Total revenue forecast for the period by those reservations.
- ADR for reservations with the discount code applied to.



- Total rooms booked with a discount code applied to per day.
- Total rooms booked for the period.
- Total revenue booked for the period by reservations with a discount code.
- ADR for the period for all reservations with a discount code.



Summary report - Over 2 weeks version

- Discount code and description.



- Total rooms (nights) booked with a discount code for the period.
- Total revenue forecast for the period.
- ADR by reservations with a discount code applied to for the date range.



- Total number of adults for the period.
- Average number of adult by room.
- Total number of kids for the period.
- Average lenght of stay.



Grand totals:
- Number of rooms currently booked with a discount code applied to.
- Revenue forecast for all rooms currently booked.
- ADR forecast for all rooms currently booked with a discount code.
- Total number of adults for the period.
- Average number of adult by room.
- Total number of kids for the period.
